From 1997 until June 2009, Rick served as president and chief executive officer of Premier Inc, the largest healthcare alliance in the United States. Under his leadership, Premier was the recipient of the 2006 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and named one of 2008 and 2009’s Most Ethical Companies in the World by Ethisphere and Forbes Magazine.
